I received a postcard in the mail for a free dinner event about stress hormones etc but found out recently the postcard is a generic card sent out by AZ natural medicine facilities. After the dinner Dr. Bethania Noronha who while very informative and really nice offers to consult with her about your issues for a price between $87. She wants you to pay upfront with a credit card and issues no refunds if you can not make the appt. She does not accept insurances. This is where it gets weird so I booked an appt which was supposed to be 90 mins long and it was less than 45 for $87 and told her my issues then asked what she could do to help me, she said I can not offer any help unless you want to invest in the whole package which ranges in price from $3,500 - $7,200 and encompasses from 60 days to 6 months. So the money you pay for the consult which refuses to refund is dishonest and can be considered fraud. You basically are paying her to tell you about her other services and she does not offer any help for the hour-long session. This is to seems like a fraud as well as totally wrong. Especially if you tell people the consult is to help you with your issues and it is not. False advertising I believe. She needs to better explain what the appt is for rather than being dishonest about it. And then to ask for $6,700 for acceptance into her holistic program is a little overwhelming and problematic. Just be careful and know what you are paying for before you go.
