| - As I was researching a new dentist, I realized I forgot to review this place. Last year, we took my daughter here due to her teeth hurting her. My daughter was 4 at the time and it was recommended I take her to a pediatric dentist.
Upon walking in, I was impressed with the waiting room, lots of books, toys, and cartoons for the kids. The dentist recommended that my daughter get a root canal and cavity filling for a couple of her teeth. She would need a papoose and was given something to relax her. The medication worked quickly but once they began work on her (needed two separate visits), she began screaming in terror. At no point did the assistants or dentists try to acclimate her, calmly talk to her, nothing. She kept saying it hurt but the dentist would deny that my daughter felt anything based on the medication she took. Throughout, I tried calming her, rubbing her legs, etc all the while they were scolding her for being so unruly. It was so horrible. At the end, they gave her a toy but made a point of telling her "even though she wasn't a good girl." Are you kidding me?
I was just as traumatized as my daughter by the experience. I understand that young patients can be challenging but if the business is going to specialize in that, they should have the requisite "children" skills to help.
