rev:text	A perfect experience at the Country Club. We started with a cocktail at the bar, I had the Dream, Wynn's signature cocktail and hubby had a blueberry martini, both were excellent. The hostess greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary (we had indicated that on the reservation). We were seated at a table with a lovely view of the golf course and waterfall (sadly, it was a little too windy to be seated outside) Our server, Jack, was just great -- when I asked about a wine choice to pair with the fillet, he was able to give an impressively detailed description of several choices and then let me taste a merlot blend that he suggested which ended up being just right with the filet. We started with the shrimp cocktail, 4 large and tasty shrimp with a nice cocktail sauce. I had the fillet, cooked to a perfect medium-rare-plus, hubby had the New York strip, also medium-rare-plus and we had the mashed potato and grilled asparagus as sides. Everything was just delicious, the steaks were tender and full of flavor, the potatoes were light and tasty and the asparagus was lightly flavored with a balsamic glaze. Jack was excellent, professional and attentive, but not overly so, checking in at well-paced intervals. We were happily stuffed so we didn't order dessert, but Jack brought us a little bowl of ice cream as an anniversary bonus, which was very nice. We had really been looking forward to our dinner at the Country Club and it exceeded our expectations (again). We are Vegas dining veterans and in addition to the Country Club, we have enjoyed great steak dinners at Charlie Palmer Steak, Circus Circus Steak, STK. We will definitely be back to the Country Club.
