*le sigh* HMP, I wanted to love you. You have so much to be loved but you got arrogant and cocky and fell short.
I took my mom for a Mother's Day present on Sunday, May 28th. I booked us Gel Manicures. We walked in and the place was hot and busy. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment and waited 20 minutes before anyone came to see us. When we went back for our manicure, one of our manicurist was still running behind and was not ready. This left for a rushed manicure for the both of us. Although I was generally happy with the manicure once we left, I woke up Tuesday morning to find that the polish on my thumb had already chipped. I blew $125 dollars on two manicure for nothing. I've spent a fraction on a gel manicure at other salons and have gone EASILY three weeks without a single chip.
If you are going to charge the prices you are charging, and want to truly be the luxury spa/salon experience you are selling, make sure the product follows suit.
