Yunnan Garden is a decent Szechuan restaurant, with service that's a bit questionable, but whatever, I don't think there are that many competitors of this food genre out there.
Spicy fish fillet- 5 stars. Super crispy, slightly spicy, and very flavorful. I love he cilantro and chiles that add to the dish.
Spicy pork wonton- 3 stars. It's not as good as noodle man, and that's because all you gotta do is add the chilli oil with pepper flake sauce on top to almost replicate it. The standard dish just comes in the chilli oil with no pepper flakes. Once I added it, it bumped up a star.
Boiled beef in spicy soup- 5 stars. This stuff wasn't as as spicy as I had anticipated. The beef is suuuuuper tender and flavorful. I wish there were more veggies in here but yummy!! I saved leftovers and turned it into a stir fry the next day by adding a ton of veggies.
Chongqing spicy chicken - 4 stars. Definitely good, but I have had better elsewhere.
Spicy mini lamp chops- 5 stars. This was reallllllly good. I'd come back and get this again without a question. The fried batter was flavorful and it was slightly spicy.
Service- I don't think some of the waitresses understood what I was asking. The pointing at photos method has worked out well so far. Service is inconsistent.
Total: 4.3 stars. Will be back to try more!!!!!!!
