| - I have been seeing Aeimee Diaz for my acupuncture and overall well being for almost a year. I was so happy when she moved to downtown Phoenix. I had my first visit today at her new location and what a pleasant surprise it was. It is a wellness center that has everything you could possibly think of for your holistic health care needs, even and herbalist who's shop is in the front. Aeimee has help me get rid of coughs through cupping and helped my digestive issues through acupuncture and prescribing me Chinese herbal supplements. I first started going to her for her amazing acupuncture facelift but she does so much more for me now. As for the facelift you have 10 treatments, 2 a week. It helps to lift, detoxify, build collagen and give you a younger fresher look. The women in my family are plagued with a saggy skin on the jaw line and I am going to do everything I can to fight it! After my initial 10 visits I now try to do once a month maintenance. While I am there she does an overall review of my health and administers some needles where needed.
As for the needles themselves, it doesn't hurt, maybe a tiny pinch. I really hate needles and use to feel anxiety before my appointments but that faded over time. Aeimee's techniques is amazing and she spent 3 months in China learning even more than she already did in the states. She learned the flying needle technique which has made her super fast in the placement of the facial needles, there are almost 100 in all!
Right now I know she is having a June promotion as well, $950 prepaid for the 10 visits, total steal and worth every penny.
I have another appointment next week and am looking forward to it.
One last note, I feel like I am going to therapy every time I see her. She is able to read what is going on with you emotionally by what is going on in your body and how that in turn effects your sleep, moods etc. I don't feel shy about discussing my most private issues because I know she can help in all aspects. There is even talk that the center is going to have an "urgent care" but using holistic medicine instead of what you would normally find at and urgent care. I am all for that! I am so glad I found my health care spot.
