We were in town for the Pitt game and were really craving sushi so we decided to try this place since it was highly rated on yelp and listed as one of the top 25 restaurants by Pittsburgh Magazine.
It's in a cool neighborhood with free valet which was nice since the parking was tight. The restaurant is upstairs above Soba (which was also on the list and looked good).
The environment and decor is very nice. Really relaxing and cool set up with great art and ambiance.
We went right for the omakase as other patrons suggested. It was good, 7 courses plus a desert.
The desserts however, were very good. We had the banana split and the pretzel with chocolate ganache. Both were very delicious but the pretzel stack really blew me away! I couldn't stop!
I would suggest this place for locals as well as visitors. Try it out!
