I had an old JVC amp from the 80s that made it to 2012 before anything happened, so I consider it a reliable piece of machinery worthy of a repair vs a thrift store. Though it took a while to get the parts, this small business did a great repair. There was a $25 inspection fee up front, and they would not do any work until they gave an estimate and got an ok so there were no unexpected costs. When I picked up my machine The owner included a baggy of all the parts he took out and replaced and walked me through his work. I really appreciate the local, hands on business vs sending something away to an unknown corporate workshop.
