  • Went here for the first time last weekend and had a great time! I see some people commented on the stairs, but they have a elevator if you can't make it down the stairs. The drinks are reasonably priced and the vibe of this place is great. I requested a bunch of 90s songs and they ended up have a 20 minute 90s marathon with music videos in the background and everything. I brought $60 cash with me for drinks and songs and ended up only spending $20 on two fishbowls and a beer which left plenty of money for song requests (the beer was for my husband and he had to help me with the second fishbowl because they are strong). The average cost for a request is $5 and on a busy night it will take them about 2 hours to get to your request with $5 attached to it. If you want to spend $20 they will play your song within about 30 minutes and if you are putting $40 and up they get to you right away. I can't stand Tempe, but when you go downstairs you won't even remember that you are in a college town. The patrons here are much better behaved than ASU students and everyone is just having a great time. I'd like to go back on a weeknight and see what it is like there. The only reason that this place isn't a 5-star review is because they have no food. Like I said, if you put $5 with your request on a busy night you are going to be stuck there for 2 hours before your song goes on. I put in a request at 11pm with $5 and an hour an a half later my stomach was begging me for something and my tolerance was going way down on an empty stomach. Please, please, please offer some bar snacks! Even easy things that don't need to be cooked (I'm assuming that they don't have a kitchen) like bread with cheese and deli meats, nuts, veggies, pretzels, chips, or whatever is easiest for you guys would make this place perfect! Even throwing a vending machine in there would be great! I ended up leaving and was really disappointed that my song didn't play before I walked out, but I still had fun and will be back, however I'll probably try to bring in a candy bar or something.
