| - At Spoon Me, the froyo is served in sizes (as opposed to self-serve). I personally like self serve places because I can get what I want for the price that I want. But i can appreciate a good froyo place that charges by the size.
The prices are a bit more expensive than Pinkberry and the cost does NOT include the cost of any toppings. You pay 50 cents per fruit topping and 40 cents for dry topping!
I was looking for an "Original Tart" flavor which the lady said would be closest to the Creamy Natural. It was pretty much original tart but I think they were trying to go for a different name. My first impression was that it was good. The kiwi was really sweet and I was happy that the flavor tasted like original tart. But towards the end, it wasn't as great. I'm not sure why, but I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was the fact that I had to pay to get my toppings? Seriously, not even 1 topping was included!
Plus the lady working there seemed very preoccupied. When we first walked in, there was no one in the place, not even a worker to greet us. The lady came out of the back room after we were looking at the menu. She wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly either. She just served us our froyo and then went into the back room again.
One plus is they have a frequency card (I'm a sucker for loyalty cards!) After you buy 10, you get a free baby with 1 topping (wow they offer 1 free topping!)
All in all, if this was the only froyo place in town, I'd come. But seeing that there are other froyo places in the Cleveland area that have friendlier staff and aren't as expensive, I probably wouldn't visit here again.
