I had to look at Chris and Erin's pictures so I could cut them a bit of slack when they called the resale offerings here "deco." They are both a generation younger than me so it is probably easy for them to confuse the styles of the 50's and 60's with those of the 20's and 30's. In any case, the vintage stuff here is not art deco, but mid-century modern (sometimes called "retro") for the most part. There are some lovely pieces but one can pick up similar by checking ebay or venturing into an antique mall in a rural area and spend a lot less.
The modern offerings are largely repros of classic designs from the same period, like Noguchi tables. If you are into this look, I'd suggest picking up a few modern offerings and only splurging on the vintage stuff if there was something really special you could not see elsewhere.
