  • Where there's a Canadian City, somewhere there's a stylishly located Roots. For this Calgary outpost, you'll find it at the crossroads of Uptown-ish (17th Avenue) and the 4th Street Restaurant Row. The humanity statues in front of the store is also a nice touch. Regardless of the Loonie - US Dollar exchange rate, I also find Roots stuff to be a bit dear price wise. That's why the Outlet stores (I've been to the ones in both Calgary and Edmonton) are worth checking out first. This particular Roots just happened to have some nice sales when I was there, so their great and stylish selection of clothes and accessories were even more tempting this time around.
