| - Found Shane after seeing his positive reviews on Yelp, and decided to give him a call to fix my Omega seamaster GMT that had stopped ticking. Normally in the past, I've bought the watch to the omega authorized service depots, which costs north of $4-500 and take 3-4 weeks to be fixed. I was hoping for a more economical and speedier alternative in Toronto.
Shane did not dissapoint, and as per fellow yelp reviewers have indicated, a very knowledgeable and honest profession in expensive watch servicing. The little workshop in his condo has numerous other watches waiting to be serviced, and he quickly disassembled my watch in 5 min in front of me, and after examining it for about another 10 min, found the issue with my watch, which was a broken bearings set.
He told me that he needed to order the parts from Omega, but he will receive the parts within 1-2 days, and he will call me when the watch is ready, the cost is $150 all in. This was way below what I normally pay at the repair Depot, so I happily accepted,
After 3 days, Shane called and said the watch is ready for pickup, I picked it up and it's working perfectly, now I'm much more at ease with wearing my Omega on a day to day basis, knowing that I can bring it to Shane if something goes wrong with it again.
Thanks Shane! Recommended!!
