Oh how I wish I had come here to read reviews before grabbing the "great deal" that this company offered through Expedia.
My first clue that this was not going to go well was the long line I walked up to. Every other car place had a few people in line, but nothing like the 20 plus people line that greeted me. The line moved so slowly. I actually turned my on the time on my phone so I could see how long it was going to take. After 44 minutes it was my turn. I was greeted by Lea who informed me they were out of cars (seeing a common thread here with other reviews) and would get me one just as soon as one became available. Lea was very kind and patient, considering she had probably been beaten up by everyone in front of me in line having the same experience.
After another 18 minutes of waiting, I had a rental car agreement and was told to go to space number xxx in the car area. I made my way there and the first thing I noticed was that the space numbers are UNDER the parked vehicles so it is difficult to find your car. Once I found the space I noticed there were no keys. Then I had to trek back over to the central area and get in yet another line of people to get the key(s) to my vehicle. Like another reviewer stated, two keys were provided, but they were so tightly and securely bound together, I had to deal with two bulky keys for the duration of my rental.
Nothing about the car was either great or terrible. It was a rental. The AC worked. It got me from point A to B and back again.
Drop off was okay. The lanes for return are not clearly marked.
Overall a very disappointing experience and I will never again be tempted by a "deal" on Expedia if it leads me to this car rental company. I have to say that the most disappointing part was that Advantage sent me three emails asking for my feedback at different points during my rental and all 3 times I provided them with professional and thorough feedback on my experience. Each time I got back a canned response and nothing further. To me this screams that they are not really committed to making a better experience for their customers.
