  • Met a friend for breakfast, early on a glorious summer day. Arrived about 8ish with only 2 tables occupied, but when we left about an hour later the place was hopping with a older, much older crowd. Seated right away, greeted and asked if we wanted coffee. I would have had a iced flavored but they were out that morning, so ice tea it was. The tea was perfect. Drinks arrived minutes later along with a basket of mini muffins. Both ordered the 2 egg combo, mine over easy, hers scrambled with bacon. It took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Picture perfect except for the puddle of "butter" on the top of my eggs. Bacon and Grandma potatoes both a mix of crispy and soft. Drinks refilled. The place has a homey vibe with everyone, even fellow customers happy and sociable. Was my breakfast perfect, no, was it good...yes, above average. Prices competitive with chain breakfast joints. I will return and next time try the eggs Benedict, the lady at the table next to me had it and it looked amazing. Parking easy too. A enjoyable morning.
