| - This is worse than the cable company. My sister ordered me an edible arrangement as a surprise for my birthday on Monday. It came on my birthday while I was out, so I missed the delivery. Called to reschedule, they said they can't guarantee a general time frame. Weird but ok. I work from home Wednesday's so said that would be best bet. Today is Wednesday. I am home all day except for one hour in the afternoon where I had to step out. Didn't receive a phone call, just saw the notice on my door when I got home. This was about 1pm. Called them, said sorry I missed it and said I'd be home the rest of the day. 430 comes around and I have a spin class at 530 so I call again. We're trying to work a time out, I said I'm only going to be gone for an hour. They said they deliver until 7, so we agreed the driver would come between 630-7. It is now 720, I've been sitting in my disgusting work out clothes for over 45 minutes because I don't want to miss them again. Girl on the phone was incredibly nice, but for something that is a GIFT that you have to be home ALL day to receive which is very unrealistic in this day, you would think they might have some kind of text alert system or gps tracker to let you know where they are and when they might be coming. I understand it's a busy time of the year and I can be flexible, but some structure would be nice. You can't expect someone to sit at home from 8am to 7pm waiting for whenever the driver might come with no notification. Do not get this as a gift for anyone, it is such a hassle and the process is ridiculous.
