| - Even by 'No Frills standards', Rocca fails at doing his job.
Granted, I do come back here every week, but that's just because it's the only affordable thing in the area.
While it is quite large, and has a tonne of goodies, quite often (especially later in the day/week), the produce section is quite pathetic. So many times I had to deal with not having produce as basic as cucumbers or mushrooms.
Also, they are CONSTANTLY understaffed. I mean, does it take a brain surgeon to figure out that in the period 5pm-7pm you need extra staff working the cash registers, since it's after people finish work? Time in and time out, I experience the same lines. Today, for example, waited for almost 15 minutes to pay. That's quite unacceptable, but honestly, I do not think it'll change any time soon, since they have the groceries monopoly in the area. I am slowly starting to explore the neighbouring Indian grocery stores, and will slowly transition, if I can find cheaper things. Otherwise, it's as convenient as any other No Frills.
Contrary to those issues, is one of the better visually-organised No Frills' I've been to. It makes sense where things are and once you go through the isles, you'll easily find your away around next time. Super easy to navigate.
If you don't have to go here, I wouldn't recommend it. If you got more money, it's totally worth going somewhere else instead. Otherwise, buckle up and wait out those lines. Might see me there...
