  • If I had written this sooner the number of stars would be a 5. This shop is clean, the bikes are very well maintained, and I absolutely love what they stand for. My ONLY issue is with the lack of care from some of their staff members. I have purchased two bikes from this shop, countless tubes, and had service done but still, for whatever reason, I feel as if I do not matter as much as other customers. Last summer my bike (purchased from GMF) was stolen and I was on the rebound for a new road bike. I found one that I loved at the shop but since it hadn't been fully serviced there was no price. I left my name and number and told the guys that I was fully committed to buying the bike. They said they would call as soon as the owner priced the bike. I called 2-3 times for an update and heard the same. After a few weeks of not getting an answer I stopped in and found out that it had already been purchased by another customer. I wasn't very happy but as I said, their mission is amazing so I gave them another shot. I bought an old Cannondale with 650s in October. A few months later I went in to buy a new set of tires and was told that they needed to be ordered. The guy at the desk was completely confused about the tire size and seemed too busy to bother. He took down my information and told me that someone would call. A week later I called and was told they were ordered and to expect a call. Another week went by and I called again. I was told they were in the shop somewhere but the guy that answered didn't know where and wanted to ask the owner. After another month I just bought the tires elsewhere. I'm not a fan of begging a business to take my money. If this had been ANY other shop I would have given them a lower rating and never go back but the story of what they stand for makes me really want them to succeed. I hope the owner reaches out because I really would like to have my faith in this shop restored. They have such a strong cause and do good work but customer service is key. I would hate to see his business fail due to poor staff attitudes towards customers.
