I recently went to see a performance of the Blue Man Group, and I would recommend this show from a number of perspectives.
If you are looking for a family friendly show, you have nothing to worry about. This show is family friendly, (whereas, there are shows on the Strip which are geared for more mature audiences). And, in fact, I did see families with children--and the kids were thoroughly entertained.
If you are looking for a show without language barriers--this is it. If you are familiar with The Blue Man Group, the performance is all music and pantomime. There is no spoken word. I saw a large contingent of international travelers in the audience--and they appeared very happy. Which now leads me the notion of "familiarity".
I have seen The Blue Man Group perform short pieces on TV--on shows like The Tonight Show. I was pleased to find that while those promotional appearances give you a taste of what the Blue Man Group can do, the show gives you performances pieces you haven't seen on TV.
The theater was smaller than I expected. But the result is that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I was able to get a seat with a center view for less than $90/seat.
In its totality, it was an entertaining show.
