| - I have live in cities all over the world, including some of the largest NY, LA, Chicago, London, and I have to say this is the nosiest place I have ever lived. People in this "city" seem to think it's the norm to have a full (really bad) cover band playing outside of your residence for 6 to twelve hours at a stretch. This is especially frustrating because I work at home, and explicitly asked about the noise, and of course this leasing snake just lied in my face. OK, she got me, can't wait to move!
Further, if you are not from Charlotte, you would never expect that a new luxury condo building would have a GIANT freight train running past your bedroom window with a fully blasting air horn 25 times a day. Usually at night...all night. For anyone who thinks it's normal to have freight trains, tailgate parties, huge dogs, and bad cover bands at 120 decibels outside your windows ( that's 95 decibels inside, 85 can cause hearing loss) 24 hours a day.. By all means, go live in a luxury tower anywhere else, (especially outside of the US) and get some perspective. Oh and before you say Charlotte is cheaper than other cities...lived in towers in same size cities too. The management was 1000 times better.
FYI, this is on the even numbered side of the building, the other side may be paradise, but I won't find out. Too bad, because it is a very nice building, but it won't be for long.
