YYZ needs to work on their signs, when I went to look for the hotel shuttle, the signs pointed me in another direction, in a loud and dimly lit location and I wasn't the only traveler confused. So I had to waste a roaming charge call to the hotel to find my hotel shuttle. When the hotel shuttle arrived, it was hard to tell since it was a plain white van and not well maintained one on that. The driving skills were also a bit questionable. When I arrived at the hotel, it took quite a while for me to check in since the customer before me was taking quite a long time, but the hotel staff did apologize and offered me a small apple juice for my inconvenience. The room was nice and I liked how you get free WiFi in the room but it is on the slow side. The bed was comfy but some of the pillows smelled of men's hair gel and didn't give me an impression that they did a good job washing the pillows, if they did. Was expecting a bit more for a so called "boutique" styled hotel. The hotel staff was nice though but I think the hotel in general needs to up their quality.
