| - I spend a pile of time zipping around Canada, and YYC is always a welcome stop. For it's size, it punches well above it's weight in terms of design, variety of service, and comfort. Only YVR challenges YYC, in my mind, in this department. The spotty wifi is still free--which is nice (and soon enough we'll have it on board planes, so the few moments I spend pre-flight won't mean much). Security is some of the toughest I encounter, which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your paranoia levels--for me, it's less the diligence of security officers that get my goat, and more the lack of preparedness on behalf of fellow passengers that drives me around the bend! In this day and age folks not knowing or anticipating what they need to do in order to pass through airport security quickly is on par with folks who still need the voice mail instruction "At the beep, please leave a message".
YYC--I'm always glad to see you when I return!
