  • I don't know much about custom tailoring, but I have to say overall I'm pretty happy with my results. Decided to get my wedding tux from Indochino and since they had a showroom in Toronto figured I should go get fitted properly rather than do everything online. It's a good thing I did because when the suit arrived it was far from perfect. Which, I suppose, is to be expected for something typed into an iPad and then made in China before being sent back. The employee I had the first go around seemed a little un-enthusiastic about the whole thing, but seemed to get the job done. After a few weeks I got the call my suit was ready and I came in for my first fitting. At my fitting I had 2 employees with me who took a great deal of time and care to look at what was working and what wasn't and took lots of notes and photos to send back. They were excellent, and made me feel comfortable with my purchase, as well as the fact that I had concerns that I wanted addressed, which I might not have done otherwise. The pants fit great but the shirt and jacket needed to be re-made mostly because the sleeves were way too short on both, but overall the fit wasn't too bad. After a few weeks I was alerted that the remake had arrived and I returned for my second fitting. Things were much better. Everything seemingly fit correctly, though the employee I had this time seemed far less invested and seemed more like a "yes-person" than someone concerned with perfection. That's not to say things are fitting well, they are, but I feel like if I were at a higher end place she might have taken a little more time to ensure everything was exacting. In the end though I'm happy with the results and the price I paid (I got my suit on sale so it was a very good deal), and since I have a far from average body type it's nice to know that my wedding suit will fit me a lot better than something off the rack.
