Deliciousness - 3.5/5
To be fair, I have always questioned the need to go-kart since becoming an adult. I am asked to get out of my larger, more comfortable, and far faster car to sit in a cramped, much slower, and far less comfortable car. Nonetheless, if you enjoy go karting, then this is the place to do it. The cars are all very high quality, they have a real kick and the turning adds excitement you don't get from driving a real car. The track is long and has two straightaways, and the staff is always pretty good about not interfering with aggressive racers while protecting the non-aggressive racers. In other words, a little bumping is A-Ok, so long as you are mindful of those just driving the track.
They have a tiny arcade and a virtual reality experience that I am dying to try (i.e., you go into a room with VR goggles and play a virtual shooting game - similar to laser tag). There is also a small bowling section that I have not tried. But most notable, it is a decent place to eat. The menu is limited, but unlike, say, most bowling alleys, it seems clean, low on the grease, and doesn't make me shiver as I eat. And there is a surprisingly decent bar scene as well. All in all, this is a place you could make a full evening of, with games and food. And honestly, most people should find this place more fun than a place like Dave & Busters.
