| - I just realized, as I was gazing at my ankle anchor tat, that I never wrote Lissa a review. Shame on me. I got two (or technically three) small tats done by her at Pearl Harbor in the summer. I went in to see her one day, she looked at my images and recommended I come in early one morning to nab a walk-in spot. As instructed, I showed up 30 mins before the shop opened. I was the first in line, but people started showing up minutes after me, so her advice was good - get there early if you want a fairly good chance of nabbing one of the few walk-in times usually available.
Lissa was great - friendly, relaxed, and she did what she could to get my tats sized just right and the way I wanted them - they were fairly simple images - 2 anchors and a set of three diamonds, but she customized the anchors a bit to have a heart at the top instead of the usual "o" and she helped me decide on color scheme, shape, and placements of diamonds, and in the end I was happy with all three. I've also seen her more elaborate work online, and I have to say, it's really impressive. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for tats big or small (but you'll have a bit of a wait to get an appt with her for bigger pieces that can't be done during a walk-in session).
