Needed a rental car while in a crunch. My car is in the shop for Lord knows how long and with a newborn baby, it's hard to drop her off and get myself and my husband to work without reliable transportation. I'm out of $300 for 5 days in an economy sized vehicle plus the added daily $24.99 insurance... which seems really expensive to me. When you have no other choice, you just do what has to be done. This location has pretty good customer service. Had an issue with one agent who wasn't very forthcoming about the fact that the added insurance is a daily charge. I was under the impression that the charge covered the duration of the rental term and it doesn't. I voiced my opinion to Enterprise about it and promptly received a call back from a manager, which was appreciated. I do feel that the manager did everything that he could to assure that I was happy... short of offering me some of my money back. That would have REALLY made me happy. Overall, I am still a bit irritated at the fact that I have to spend so much money on a vehicle needed only temporarily. No locals discount. My regular monthly car payment isn't even $300. I would recommend to others for SHORT periods of time only. Like two days or less. Especially if you find out last minute that you have to purchase the additional insurance. Over $60 a day seems ridiculous.
