  • Amey is wonderful. She came to see my son and I one week after he was born because he had a shallow latch, was a little jaundice, and the doctor was a little concerned about his weight loss. She gave me great tips and showed me how to get my son to latch better, and how to massage my breasts while he is nursing to get him the most milk and to prevent engorgement. Amey came back 4 days later to do a courtesy weight check, and my son had gained 14 ounces! She was very professional and kind, and provided me with a wealth of information about breastfeeding to read through. She also filled out a claim form that I was able to submit to my insurance to see if they would reimburse her fee as an out of network provider. She checked in with me a few times after our visit to make sure things were still going good, including when my son turned 6 weeks old! Her Facebook page is fun to follow and very informative. I highly recommend her, even if you're not having problems, she can provide extra tips and advice!
