Kierland Commons has a number of good restaurants. On this visit, tried another Fox Restaurants Concept establishment and found you can't go wrong with this group. The complimentary table bread was dense squares of a parmesan-herb concoction. Delicious! My salmon salad was a tiny disappointment in that, while the salmon was tender and moist, it could have used a bump of herbs or dressing to add more flavor. However, combined with a bite of the vinaigrette coated salad greens, it came to life.
I couldn't pass up the excellent dessert list and settled on the warm cinnamon and sugar donut that came with a custard dip and berry sauce. My server's detailed descripton of his fav, Spike's Chocolate Bars of Sin, was pretty appealing so I guess I'll have to visit again soon!
Liked the open, yet cozy, feel of the restaurant, and the server was attentive even though I was a party of one. Prices ranged from $9 for an iceberg wedge salad to $26 for grilled filet medallions. Salads were in the $8-$16 range. A number of yummy side dishes were listed for $7 each.
