| - I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I do want to share my experience.
My husband and I purchased tickets for the Saturday Dinner and City Lights Blues Cruise specifically for the live music.
After we boarded and departed, we were told (only after I asked), that the live music was on the main deck, there was a private party on the main deck, and we were not allowed to go down to that level.
We had to stay on the second level with the DJ. The DJ said nothing to the passengers until 2 hours after we had boarded (8:30pm), then said "hope everyone is having a good time", and then that was it. Boring.
The food was low quality and extremely salty, and since we had walked to the front of the boat to get a picture after we ate our food, we missed dessert.
The boat cruised back and forth along the coastline and we sat and walked around and did nothing else because there was nothing else to do.
I do not recommend this cruise unless you like food comparable to MCL Cafeteria and like to sit and do nothing for two hours.
I talked to a crew member named Eddie about my dissatisfaction, and he said other passengers were upset about not being allowed to listen to the live music also. He was sympathetic and directed me to Captain Bob.
I spoke with Captain Bob, and although he was pleasant, he was not apologetic and told us we could listen to the live music at 9:00 after the private party was over.
After being on the boat since 6:30 with nothing to do, we did not wait for the second half of the cruise and disembarked as soon as we could.
We will not be going back.
