| - Be careful where you park! The spots along one side of the driveway to the Farmer's Market are reserved for the mob museum. Luckily they give you one warning ticket.
This is a pretty typical Vegas farmer's market, being that it's limited but I always find something worth going for. Today I got a loaf of cheese sourdough bread & a bag of freeze dried sweet potatoes that are surprisingly tasty. There are several people handing out samples- nuts, toffee, brittle tea, bread, & several flavors of the freeze dried sweet potatoes I got. There was also people selling farm raised eggs & frozen chickens, spices, herbs, cheese, honey, jams & jewelry. Someone was serving some yummy looking quiche Lorraine, egg sandwiches & avocado toast. I opted for the Jamaican Jerk chicken being grilled outside. The guy with that booth is a legit Jamaican & he's grilling it in a steel drum just like they do on the streets in Jamaica. It was good! He also gives samples & mentioned he was going to be at First Friday tonight. Produce was limited today. I look forward to returning in a month or two when more is in season.
