| - I must admit I was a little scared for my life when I got out of my car to get donuts for a client's office visit. This was the only donut shops within a two mile radius of my client's office, which is really unheard of if you are in Las Vegas. But then again, this is North Las Vegas we are talking about, so it's a whole other animal. But I digress.
As soon as I walked in, I liked this place and made up for the scare for my safety I experienced two seconds ago. It smelled wonderful in there. You got the Thrifty ice cream refrigerator to your immediately left. Then you got bags and bags of bread to the left of the ice cream case. The window case of the donuts are right in front of you. Then this glass-off case filled with convenience store items is to your right. I think you can get cigarettes and chips and stuff, but I was too concentrated on the ice cream and the donuts.
Now, I didn't personally try the donuts, so I can't tell you if they are good or not, but I saw some gignormous donuts on display and they looked pretty bomb. $10 for a dozen; it's more than what I pay at my favorite donut shop on Spring Mountain, but supply and demand will always dictate the market.
So, yes, four stars for Real Donuts in North Las Vegas, but definitely not a four stars by Las Vegas' standards.
