| - This place has become one of our Saturday morning stops. We discovered them about four months ago and we are so glad we did.
They are tucked away into a small shopping center. The restaurant is tiny, but that gives it a cozy atmosphere. It is decorated with photos and artworks from the owners family, which I love. It really gives the feeling that you are sitting in Grandma's Kitchen.
The owner and her daughter are incredibly nice and they run a tight ship. We have never had bad service, and they will hang out and chat with the regulars when they have the time.
Of course, the best part is the food. This place, hands down, is the best place to get breakfast in Mesa. Out of all of our visits, we have yet to find something that wasn't five star quality.
My absolute favorite is their homemade grits. Grits are something that is hard to find properly done, especially here in Phoenix. Grandma's are fluffy, flavorful, and creamy. Their French toast is fantastic, and when they have it, their green chile scrambled eggs are to die for!
I cannot recommend them enough!
