  • This was the first time I stayed off the strip, and I think I'll be back the next time I'm in the city and I have a car. In a city where a number of the hotels are quite old and well-worn, it nice to be able to stay in a very new (but for how long...?) place, and for such a cost saving (I think I paid under $50 a night in December '08). The rooms are large and clean, and the facilities (movie cineplex, large bowling alley, casino, showroom) are good. On the Thursday night I was there an excellent salsa band played in the showroom (the reason I had stayed here in the first place), and the dancing was good. Even if I don't stay here next time I'm in town I'll definitely go back for that.
