| - I have long admired Agent Provocateur's lingerie, but never had the opportunity to shop it in person until I visited Vegas for my best friend's bachelorette weekend. Appropriate, no?
Their lingerie is amaaaaaazing. Everything is seriously so gorgeous and flattering. They carry a broad range of styles from very traditional to sweet, to extremely risqué. They of course have bras and panties, along with chemises, teddys, various styles of stockings, garters and other accessories, and they even carry some bathing suits. I tried one on, and it fit so well. Same goes for their bras, which were practically a revelation. The products are pricey, but they are one of those things that I don't mind spending more on because they really are high quality (lots of silk, French lace, etc), and not just marked up for the brand name alone. Besides that, it is a worthy indulgence. There's nothing quite like some gorgeous lingerie to give you confidence, and we all deserve that!
There were two ladies working, both lovely and helpful, but we spent the most time with Barbara. She was so great! They had a sale going on, so we sifted through the items a bit, simply pointed out what we were interested in, and she located all the sizes for us. She quickly picked up on each of our individual styles, then brought us additional items she thought we might like. She also brought me a set that I never, ever would have chosen on my own, but that she thought might look nice on me, and it really did! I was very impressed with her, and the time she took to get to know us and make sincere suggestions, all without being pushy, and making it a bit of an event in the best way.
The store is a little small, but by no means tiny. Everything is black or light pink, shiny, and very luxe. The dressing rooms are fab, and there is some sort of magic lighting in there that makes you look like a super model.
If they put your information in their system they will alert you of sales and record everything you've purchased there, along with your sizes. Then, if someone wants to buy you a gift they can just call the store, and they will have all your information, and can make sure you don't get something you already have. Fabulous!
My friends and I each made a purchase, and left very happily, feeling great about ourselves. There's something to be said for the enjoyment of shopping for lingerie with your girlfriends, but more than that, they really made sure we had a great experience. I'll be sure to return whenever I'm in the area.
