I had a buzz cut for the summer and thought I would get a fade as my hair started growing. It's still very short but to clean it a little I thought I would try this place for the first time since I moved to the Long Branch area. I thought $18 dollars and my hair is short, if it's a bad fade, it's not that far off from the buzz cut. The fade was okay but not as good as my old barber. I even asked her to leave the front as is as I am trying to grow my hair again. After the cut she asked for $25. I asked why? It's $18 for men's hair cut on the sign and on their webpage. It turned out that a "fade" is a category that's to be "updated" on the price list written with chalk behind her. I didn't argue but this type of dishonesty turned me off. I like to trust people I go to for service like cutting my hair monthly. If I request a fade and it's a category that's to be updated with a significant difference, I would think a heads up would be nice for a new customer who might not know. How can anyone know? It's not written anywhere. Earlier I told her it's my first time and always wanted to stop by to try their cuts as she made small talk. Now I would never go back. I'll be going buck to my old barber in Mississauga for $20 including the tip. Very disappointed but it was a small cost to see what some businesses would do to get your money. Wouldn't recommend this place.
