True to its name, I would say this is a relaxing cafe! I think mostly because of its size as it has maybe 5 tables and a window bench that seats maybe 4. There is a fireplace inside which would probably be cosy in the winter. I ordered a lemon tea for a reasonable $1.50 plus tax. For that they give a whole tea pot of hot water. I also thought it was nice that they asked if I wanted honey and they gave me a huge bottle of honey with a spoon. That's awesome!
The desserts and sandwiches are small and don't look like anything to write home about. They also look a bit overpriced. Next time I will try one to get a better sense of the the value.
Oddly enough the best thing about Relax is its bathrooms. Not only are they clean but they contain a circular mirror of positive messaging that will amp up your day. Kind of felt like I could take on the world while I was washing my hands!
I'd give it 3.5 stars rounding down. It isn't anything special, but a very nice place to study and get some work done.
