After coming here several times in the past for all my ultrasounds and appointments, I have noticed the following things to be almost always true:
1. You wait 15-20 min. in the waiting room even though you have made an appointment in advance. Why is that? Why don't they just have more staff to accomodate the patients?
2. The front desk staff, techs and doctors really need to be more consistent as far as communication with each other. For example, the tech assist. told me that they would not be able to do any more than 2 ultrasounds during my pregnancy at this location unless I have a medical condition-PERIOD. After waiting 20 minutes, the doctor comes in and tell me that they can do more than 2 ultrasounds if I am willing to cover it if my insurance does not. So, I am sitting there, thinking..."Why is what they are saying to me contradict each other?" Why aren't they more trained on giving patients the same information each and every time?
3. When I ask to make an ultrasound appointment, I mean ultrasound appointment. I do not mean, "a checkup for the fetal heartbeat". I mean a full on ultrasound appointment, so don't set me up for a general check-up and call it an ultrasound appointment. (This is for the front receptionists).
4. Overall the staff seems unorganized and confused at times.
I am going to research a few more OBGYN around my area to see if I can find a staff a bit more professional.
