  • The Standard was fantastic! My husband and I went in for dinner with our 2 young boys tonight. The atmosphere was great. It was definitely active in the bar. The music was up and people were having a great time. The hostess was super sweet and took us to our table. We asked for something quite and she took us to a "private dinning room" which was much quieter, but I didn't feel like we were put in the back. This private area was lined with windows so you could still see everything but my family and I were still able to hear each other. It was great. Our server was super nice and ready with suggestions. My husband had a cocktail called the Canadian buck and I had the shaker maker. Both were super yummy! Our oldest son has all kinds of allergies and they totally accommodated him with no problem. Our boys had classic tasty kids dinners of Mac & cheese, and chicken and fries. My husband and I shared 2 sandwiches, the brick chicken club and the turkey burger. Both were very good. They were definitely gourmet burgers and stacked high. The bread was really delicious! The turkey burger was really good with a little bit of a kick from the sauce they use and the burger was nice and moist. The chicken sandwich was my favorite with the bacon, caramelized onions and brie. If we had more time and more room we would have had dessert. The chocolate beet cake definitely intrigued me. So all in all the restaurant was awesome and the food was awesome! The staff was great and we will be back for sure!
