  • Our arts festival was just recently rated one of the top 10 festivals in the country. It should be. The old joke was when does it arts festival start? Answer: The first day of rainy season. Now moved back to the first two weeks of June, it gets somewhat more stable weather. The best of the best gather here. Some of the best food is sold in the city. Whomever makes the chicken on a stick should be knighted. The fried Oreos, twinkies, corn dogs, lemonade, Thai, Chinese, Italian, it's all there. Some of the best artists local and elsewhere are on the circuit. Check out some of the best bands in the country as well and best of all, it's all free.
