  • I walked into Sal at Salon Surreal by a chance - my regular hairdresser was not available when I had to leave for vacation. I am sure that you, ladies (and gentlemen) happened to feel that rush at some point and called the salon in desperation. ... A man with a great smile welcomed me and practically made me feel like VIP. I tried to explain that I had the same boring style for too long, and hated the color that was of many shades from washed out brown, to dark brown-black, that was bleached at some point, to reddish. Sal smiled, and with the confidence (not pride) assured me that I could completely trust his 30+ years of experience and just relax. After the color part I jumped from the chair and screamed that this is the best color ever - roasted coffee beans with incredible shine, washed and rinsed with the great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and followed by deep and very relaxing massage. Heavenly. Then my hair were cut and STRAIGHTENED. The new look touched me deeply: I gasp with amusement, disbelieve of this unexpected metamorphose from the tired and pale to much younger, classy, sexy (if I may), and most importantly - HAPPY woman. Sal was smiling, And sincerely shared my happiness with the kind smile and many sweet compliments. His professionalism, experience, his intuition for the right style, his respect for every women, make him unique hairstylist and I highly recommend him. Needless to say, every time I come for my appointments I see women leaving Sal's chair looking most beautiful, smiling, feeling happy, just like me. Thank you so much, Sal!
