  • I found this joint when I had a meal at Tonkatsu Kiyoshi which is basically next door so I finally decided to try this place out. This is another place where my feelings are very mixed. It's more like 3.5 stars for me. Inside, the place seems like a basic cafeteria with some beach decorations. They have your typical "mellow music" playing as well. I know it's supposed to be relaxing but the place was a bit too sleepy for me. That being said, the patrons that were there were clearly regulars so they must be doing something right. Service was... ok. They weren't really that attentive to me, however that being said, it did look like all of them were pretty busy doing things such as putting things away, cleaning, restocking, etc. so at least it wasn't because they were just slacking off on the job. Food was good but nothing really special. It also took a little long to come out. They do look like they have a lot of tasty brunch items. I like the fun facts that you can read on the back on the menu while you are waiting for your food. They only open until 3pm, so get your brunch fix in before then.
