My stay here was fairly pleasant. Our suite was spacious enough and modern with a nice kitchenette. The old man at the front desk wasn't very friendly, but we didn't have to interact with him much. There were no complimentary snacks. The continental breakfast was pretty standard, including a waffle iron. There was no bacon or boiled eggs or hot oatmeal. They only provided dry oatmeal packets. The breakfast area is tiny and cramped, as is the lobby. There was limited parking. Every night, we struggled to find parking. The lot didn't seem small, but apparently it was. Plus there were several big local events taking place at the time. Another inconvenience was the lack of shops and eateries within walking distance. This hotel was pretty much located in an industrial area and it seemed rather isolated. This is not the place to stay if you want to walk around and explore the area. This wouldn't be my first choice for a hotel stay if I return to Charlotte, but it wasn't awful.
