Oy vey. This was one of those experiences where, at the end, you think "I'll never get THOSE 3 hours of my life back."
The wait to get in and the entire queuing process was way to long and convoluted to being with, and things went down from there.
The highlight of the show were the gigantic fruity girl drinks we had before the show started, which may or may not have been the reason I fell asleep sometime during the first act.
The spray zone (thank the gods we did not sit there) was a hot mess of watered down red koolaid. The thin Tshirts provided would do nothing to protect your clothes. So, if you're into getting sprayed, be sure not to wear your finest togs.
The storyline was pretty true to the movie; and while I appreciate campiness and odd theatre, this just did not work for me. I'm not a huge horror fan, but the friends I went with are, and they hated it as well. There's a reason that the reviews are mostly 1s and 5s -- you're either going to love it or hate it.
My advice is to save the money you'd pay for tickets and get girldrink drunk in the sexy lady bar next to the theatre.
