I didn't know William Ashley sold more than just fine china, but there was a great collection on kitchen stuff at the warehouse sale. The prices on the high-end items, like the Global knives, were the cheapest I've seen anywhere, although still expensive if you're not into high-end kitchen wares ($75 for the 8" chef's knife). The mid-range stuff is hit or miss; you might find a good deal on some things like the $2 silicon spatulas, but I bought (and will be returning!) a lasagna dish for $10 which I then saw at Dollarama for $3...exact same brand and everything. Overall it was a great sale though with lots of variety. It's on until Dec 2, and if you're thinking of going but think you may have missed the "good" stock, don't let that deter you because they restock everything daily and the items change over time, so there will always be something new and great to buy.
Beware the parking, find legitimate street parking or be prepared to pay $4-$5 dollars for their controlled lots. And practice steeling your shopping resolve before you go, or you'll end up spending more money than you intended!
