I give this place 5 stars for the atmosphere, 3 stars for the food, and 3.5 stars for the wine. The grounds at Narcisi Winery are absolutely beautiful and it's a great place to spend a sunny day having lunch on their outdoor patio or to bring your own food along with chairs or a blanket to dine on the lawn. You can purchase wine inside the building where they also allow you to taste the various wines before you buy them. Their wines are a little on the sweet side though I do prefer sweeter wines, these are a little too sweet even for my taste, but better than some of the other local wines that I've tasted from Pennsylvania and overall they different wines that I had while there were enjoyable to drink on a hot day.
The food was just o.k. - my friends and I all ordered salads and the meats were charred a little too much - my friend and I shared with Grilled Salmon salad and the C&S salad (which has grilled chicken and shrimp). The salmon was cooked a little too much and the char was overdone to the point that the outside of the fish was hard. They did a nice job cooking the shrimp on the C&S salad but the chicken was so overdone that it was really dry and unpleasant tasting. The wait staff were not overly friendly, but it was very hot outside and they were relatively busy (we went on a Saturday), but not so crowded that it should have been unmanageable. The service was just very slow, but that could be for a lot of reasons, but it took over 30 minutes for us to get our checks after we requested them.
Overall we had a great time, and I will definitely go back especially to listen to some live music and enjoy a sunny day outside on their patio.
