  • Had my hair and makeup done Saturday with four other women in a wedding party. I have had my hair and makeup done in my home before for weddings, quinceañeras, but this was the first time I went with a group to a salon. One part of the salon does hair and the other salon in the next building is makeup, waxing, and other stuff. It was somewhat chaotic, and I still prefer stylists coming to our home for larger groups, but I think the ladies did a wonderful job accommodating all of us. My hair is still curly today, a day later and it does not feel weighed down by excessive product. The makeup was stunning! I have had airbrush makeup done many times for formal events, and I love it because it stays perfectly all night long. The owner of the makeup salon did such an amazing job on all of us. The make up felt light and also stayed perfectly all night. I really appreciated how she listened to what we wanted and we all left feeling completely satisfied with makeup. Hair is easy to please (sometimes), but makeup can be a hit or miss!! I do not recommend the salon for a group over 5 because some in our group barely made it to the event on time. However, if time is not a factor, this is definitely your place. The ladies here have true talent. I hope to attend a make up training class if it's offered one day! **Only tiny issue was one of my fake lashes may have had too much glue. When I removed it about 4 of my lashes came off with it! :-( Never had that happen before, so maybe next time I will really work it with makeup remover. I just never had to do that before, and it was only one of the eyes, not both. The first one came off easily. Still, it is the BEST makeup I have ever had professionally.
