Exceedingly friendly staff. Has a cafeteria ambiance but with lots of warmth.
My first time there was for Sunday brunch and it was great. The food was excellent. The best collard greens I've ever had. The fried corn was a preparation of corn not quite like any I've tasted (and good). The fried chicken was quite tasty and not greasy at all. And the waffles (Sundays only) were equally impressive.
Last time though we got ribs to take out and they forgot to include the sauce! Ribs without sauce? They didn't put a receipt in the bag so there was no way to call them. I tried information and called that number, but got a generic answering machine.
Maybe I'll go back, but I haven't since then.
