| - Located inside a bright and cheerful dining room in the Rio, and offering much better quality than other dim sum spots in Vegas, I'm a fan of KJ! They will make items for you if you ask, and serve dim sum all day and late into the night. Five of us threw down a pretty eclectic variety of breakfast, my favorite items:
Congee: comforting with Century egg.
Salt and Pepper Squid: perfectly executed.
Walnut Shrimp: deliciously decadent!
Shrimp Balls: bite sized balls of goodness :)
Egg Custard: my favorite in Las Vegas.
Red Bean Bun: savory, fluffy bun.
Shiu Mau: appreciate the roe.
Chive Balls: not at all greasy.
Sweet Tofu: flavorful without being cloying.
Taro Bun: so very good, real taro flavor.
Chinese Broccoli with Garlic: superfresh™
Sesame Balls: sweet, nutty, tasty balls!
XLB: everyone loved them: I don't eat pork, but they were soupy for sure!
Service is pretty good, they are very busy during weekend prime-time. New items are added to the menu occasionally, and there's more hits than misses, IMO. 3.5* rounded up.
