  • I was recommended to Joann from a friend who met her husband through Joann's matchmaking. I still was very skeptical about Matchmaking. But after wasting time online and with men who weren't really looking for long term relationships, I was willing to try anything When I first met Joann I had quite the list of who I wanted to meet. I've never had a problem meeting attractive men but just couldn't find the right one. Joann is kind but very direct about getting real about who I should be with. Frankly I was a bit put out that she thought she knew more than me. So I didn't budge. And afterwards I didn't hear from Joann for some time. I was surprised as I thought I would be flooded with dates. But it isn't online dating and by the time she called I had more bad dates and short term relationships and was much more open. I met two men, both were great but one was just a bit different from all the others. He isn't someone I would have picked online but it seems he was the right one for me. We are engaged and I couldn't be happier. Hard to focus at work! Even our pets get along ;-) I recommend Joann's Matchmaking to everyone. I've come to know her well and knows she really cares about what she does. And she doesn't take every man who wants to hire her, she does more than just set up dates. So it really is good men who want relationships. Listening to Joann resulted in meeting my soulmate.
