I really enjoyed the "Defend the Magic Academy" room. It was my first escape room at their Scarborough location (the Markham one is much closer to me).
The room was intricate with different types of puzzles to be solved. It wasn't the same type of puzzle over and over again like at other escape rooms. I also liked that it didn't involve any number locks - I hate those! There were stages and rooms to go through which is always exciting.
The service was excellent. The gentleman helping us was friendly and very easy to communicate with.
The only downside is the cost. It was almost $80 for two people. I do think it's worth it because there are several rooms to go through and many puzzles to solve. It's fun with a big group. We had 8 people and it was a great time. However, it isn't something I would do all the time or even once a month, because of the price.
